“O Starry, Starry Night” is a play by Nobel Prize winner Derek Walcott, which was first published in English in 2014 and in Estonian translation a year later. The play tells the story of the historic meeting of two great artists, Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin, in Arles, France in 1888. Both of them were important art innovators and charismatic personalities who nevertheless saw the ideals of art quite differently. The play tells the story of the beauty and tragedy of these creative and human endeavours. The play was translated by Mathura (Margus Lattik)
